• Yes, all Indian passport holders require a visit to visit Bosnia and Herzegovina. Visa must be obtained from the Embassy of Bosnia and Herzegovina in India. Applicants are required to complete an interview at the Embassy afterpersonally submitting the visa application.
  All Indian visitors entering into Bosnia and Herzegovina must have a valid visa and passport or travel document, as well as onward tickets and sufficient funds to support themselves while in the country. The type of visa to enter Bosnia and Herzegovina will depend on several factors such as nationality, purpose of your planned visit and duration.

• Short Term Visa C is issued for trips related to business, education training, tourism, private affairs, politics, science, sport, religion or other purposes. Applicants can only stay for 90 days in a period of six months from the date of entry.
  Long Term Visa (Visa D) shall be issued exceptionally in such situations where for the purposes of stay in Bosnia and Herzegovina a period of more than 90 days is required within the period of six (6) month. Stay cannot exceed 180 days in the period of one year beginning from the day of the first entry. Visa D may be valid up to maximum of one year, exceptionally more. To obtain Visa D applicants are obligated to submit the same documents as for Visa C, but the documents must demonstrate the need to stay longer than 90 days.

• One must carefully note what kind of entry is permitted. If the visa reads a single entry, its holder can only enter and leave Bosnia and Herzegovina once whereas, with multiple entries, he/she can enter or leave the country multiple times.
